In over your head
So my application for Toymods got rejected, I wonder if it had anything to do with me submitting this link as my website... hehe...
Anyway, I've put the battery back in the car, and prepped the car for removal. I've decide to get the car fixed professionally. I started work on the car, with help from Viv and co., and I get very little done very slowly. So, I decided I'd get the work done professionally. I had also bought a Valve Regrind Set, which includes all the parts needed to replace a head gasket, including the headgasket itself, and will be giving it to the garage for them to use. I took quite a lot of photos, which I may post eventually anyway. I learnt a lot. That's for sure. It would have taken me weeks of hours a day work to get it done, and even then, there is a large chance that I'd put it all back together and it wouldn't work... :PI've sanded the rust off the antenna location on the chassis, and primed it with primer, albeit too thickly. I also had no red paint to paint it with, so I've used tape instead. Hmm... also, a part of the safety strip on the drivers side door started to come off when we bumped it taking the car out of the garage, so that's taped on at the moment as well, unfortunately, though, I don't think tape is going to hold that on too well. I cleaned up all the oil that was in the hatch after the last bottle of transmission fluid I bought spilled into that area, and whilst doing so, noticed an increasing amount of rust underneath the spare tyre. All to common on my type of car, I need to look into how to stop it's spreading. Also, my rear tyres are all but bald, so I will be needing a new set of tyres. I might also explain why the car had started to become so tail happy before the engine went.Well, just thought I'd post an update, as I think in the future, I will enjoy looking back at my car history.
