Non-existent answers to questions you've never thought of.

I bit my tongue by accident the other night, never a fun thing; but this time was special!

How was it special, I hear you ask?

I bit both sides of my tongue simultaneously. Which resulted in an interesting "obvious" to which I'd not previously noticed.

My tongue is wider than the cavity in which it resides.

Which led to an interesting, yet utterly pointless question; is everyone's?

Is everyone's tongue wider then the distance between their teeth, making double bite-age possible?

Only one way to find out... ask the world! Take the poll on the right :D

UPDATE: Poll closed! Results? Resounding yes! The vast majority of people can double bite their tongue :)

Yes, everybody's is. Also, when at rest the tip of your tongue should rest on the roof of your mouth.

I voted "Yes, comfortably" but I don't think it would really be that comfortable.
