Methods of Discussion

I put an old playlist on in iTunes. One I hadn't listened to for a long time, since an emotional period of time. A good emotional period of time. Back when I bought Permission To Land.
Growing On Me, The Darkness

But it's not even really the song that mattered to me, not specifically. It was the emotional response. I'd always known that smell could vividly bring back memories, but I'd not really experienced the same with music. Sure, listening to music I hadn't heard since I was young is strangely nostalgic, but this was different. It's like a wave of emotion that just washes over you. Like living it again even though it's not now.

Albeit sad; It feels good.

Online Endeavours

It has been written before that the low cost of creating a website has created low-risk opportunities to creating money.

Even if only for information (rather than service) providing, two of my associates have recently entered the game.

Shameless plugging ahoy.
  • CartoonScripts.com is an online repository for scripts for your favourite animated television series', Simpsons, Futurama and Family Guy.
  • Machinima-Tutorials.com is a technically oriented site with tutorials on the usage of game engines and media for creating machinima.

Good luck guys!

Top Gear Polar Special

I am continually impressed by Top Gear. For one they've succeeded in making a car show (or simply an interest specific show) that appeals to people with no interest in the subject matter.

If you've never seen an episode, they are quite accessible, and SBS screens episodes most Monday nights at 7:30.

Recently, however, they upped their ambition. They attempt to be the first people ever to drive to the north pole. If you, like me, was left wanting to know more about what happened (who was filming Hammond?) check out the official Top Gear Polar Special production notes.

A great show. It is.
